Monaco Strengthens International Police Cooperation with RESOPOLIS Meeting

Security officials from twelve countries gathered in Monaco to reinforce international cooperation and address the growing importance of cross-border law enforcement partnerships.

The Principality of Monaco recently welcomed sixteen members of the French association RESOPOLIS, representing twelve countries across Europe, Africa and the Americas, for a high-level exchange with the Direction de la Sûreté Publique.
The meeting was attended by Georges Salinas, Director of France's Directorate for International Security Cooperation (DCIS), underscoring the close security partnership between Monaco and France.
Founded in 2008, RESOPOLIS is a non-profit network dedicated to strengthening international police cooperation through the exchange of expertise, operational experience and best practices. The association supports the work of French and Monegasque internal security attachés and liaison officers from nearly forty nationalities, helping facilitate collaboration across jurisdictions.
The gathering highlighted Monaco's continued commitment to international dialogue among law enforcement agencies at a time when transnational threats—including organised crime, cybercrime and cross-border security challenges—require increasingly coordinated responses.
While informal in atmosphere, the meeting reflected a broader strategic priority: strengthening trusted international partnerships through regular professional exchanges and cooperation.
